The brand new artist book Exquisite Gunpowder City 16 Shot is made in edition of 600 in Xiamen, China during the residency winter 2007-08 by Kaleb de Groot and Roosje Klap.

It not only holds the drawings and photographs of the project with the same name, but it also texts by four acclaimed writers that have written an essay, four fictional stories, one documentary story, and a manifest on residencies especially for this book. The book deals with implosions and explosions in the broadest sense of the word, whilst making a point of the fast growing architecture all around the world.

In summer 2008 the book is published worldwide by the art book publisher Revolver, archiv fur Aktuelle Kunst in Frankfurt am Main.

The book costs 35,00 euro inc. VAT, but ex costs for sending it to you (6,10 in Holland / 10,00 in Europe / 15,00 in the USA).
